Today marks the end of Cervical Cancer Prevention Week

So to help raise awareness of cervical screening our editor Ms Diamond U.K. has asked the international pageant community to send her there Smear for Smear photos which she has put together in an awareness video with information from Jo’s Trust.

The photos and information will also be included in this months issue of Crowns and Sashes Magazine.

One in three women and people with a cervix don't attend cervical screening and this needs to change.

However cervical cancer prevention doesn't stop at screening.

220,000 women and people with a cervix every year are told they have cervical cell changes after their screening, and many more are given a HPV diagnosis. This can mean more tests and treatments, and for some it can be incredibly hard time that’s why Jo’s Trust was created as they want everyone to have the information and support they need.

Thank you everyone who got involved in this campaign together we can make a difference
