Living with epilepsy is a strange one. I suffer grand mal seizures and I'm photosensitive too so the TV is what sets mine away, flashing lights etc. It has never held me back apart from a career in the Royal Air Force but then I wouldn't have met my hubby. I'm now 20+ years seizure free without medication. It's always there and I'm very careful where TV's and flashing lights are involved, especially strobe lights as I am photosensitive (not all people are). I always think it is worse for the people watching rather than the sufferer, and I've found the more you talk about it the more people you find suffer from it.
